Haiti, Dominican Republic
- Please continue to keep in prayer the children and people of Haiti as torrential rain, mudslides, and flooding hit their country at the start of this year’s hurricane season.
- Pray for the hundreds of thousands who are still homeless after last year’s earthquake and live in crowded slums and tent camps that flood easily. Pray that God will provide ample housing for children and families affected by this flooding.

- Pray for the disabled children receiving treatment at the CURE International Hospital in Kenya and for the medical staff and caregivers there. Please also pray for 13-year-old Caroline and 12-year-old Kelvin.
Sudan
- Continue to pray for the 300,000 Nuba people of northern Sudan’s South Kordofan state who are cut off from relief aid and trapped by fighting between north Sudan’s government forces and the Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA), a former rebel group based in southern Sudan. (The Nuba people, an ethnic group in South Kordofan, identify ethnically and culturally with the south and fought alongside the south during the civil war.)
- Pray for children trapped in this crisis situation—that God will protect and provide for them. Pray for those who have lost parents, siblings, friends, and homes in the fighting. Pray for God’s comforting presence for each child in this terrifying situation.
- Pray for church personnel, those in humanitarian aid groups, local leaders, political rivals, and medical personnel who have been targeted for execution by government security forces. Pray for children and women who are hunted down by these forces because of their indigenous Nuba ethnicity.
- Also pray for those who have been harmed by the SPLA instead of being protected by them.
- Pray for a cease-fire in this region and for a nonviolent resolution to the conflict. Pray for peace as South Sudan becomes an independent country on July 9. http://tinyurl.com/5vj6ova
Tajikistan
- Pray for Tajikistan government leaders who are considering adoption of a restrictive Parental Responsibility Law that bans children from attending religious activities except for funerals.
- Pray for the children of this country—that they may be able to freely worship and study.
- Pray for those in Tajikistan who face persecution for their faith.

Yemen
- Pray for the children of Yemen, one of the poorest countries in the world where half the children have stunted growth and 40 percent of the population lives below the poverty line.
- Please pray for the children and people who have been affected by the political unrest and violence in Yemen. Pray for the thousands who have been uprooted from homes and towns because of the fighting and looting in their communities.
- Pray that God will meet the needs of the affected children and people of Yemen—that they will have shelter, food, clean water, medicine, health care, and education. Food and fuel prices have skyrocketed, causing the malnutrition rate in this country to escalate and making the water situation even more desperate. Fuel is needed to pump water from the ground as well as transport it.

- Please continue to pray that more churches and individuals will join with the ministry of Faces of Children in spreading awareness about children in crisis and inviting more people to pray for children at risk.
