Mexico

- Pray for children whose homes and schools have been burned down by rival drug cartels fighting for control of marijuana and opium poppy growing regions in Mexico’s “Golden Triangle.” Pray for children and their parents who must hide in the woods, sleep under trees, or hide in caves to escape the violence.
- Pray for those in Mexico’s northern states—Durango, Chihuahua, and Tamaulipas—who’ve been threatened with death by drug cartels if they didn’t evacuate their towns. Rival cartels continue to fight for control of lucrative smuggling routes to the U.S. through these northern states.
- Pray for children who have been affected by the more than 34,000 drug killings in the past four years. Pray that God will bring comfort and peace to children who see violence on a daily basis and who live in fear. Pray for an end to the insatiable demand for drugs and that the drug wars plaguing Mexico will cease.

- Please keep the women and men who work for Child Protective Services (CPS) organizations around the country in prayer as they serve abused and at-risk children and struggling families.
