Burma
- Please remember the 800,000 survivors of Cyclone Nargis who are still homeless and hungry more than two years after the hurricane struck Burma. The military junta is making it difficult for aid agencies to gain access to these survivors, believing that they are enjoying the same quality of life as before the cyclone hit.
- Pray that stringent government regulations determining which and how many aid agencies may have access to the survivors will be lifted. With the first parliamentary elections in 20 years coming up very soon, the military junta may be limiting access to foreign visitors. http://www.alertnet.org/db/

- Give thanks to God for the safe rescue of 33 miners who had been trapped more than 2,000 feet below ground for 69 days. And thanks be to God for the amazing rescue effort and for the strength and resilience of the trapped miners. Pray for these men—husbands, fathers, sons, brothers—as they re-enter life above ground and reunite with their families. Pray for the children of these men who have waited anxiously for their fathers to be freed.

- Please keep the staff and volunteers with Salvation Orphanage held close in prayer as they care for 24 children with varying disabilities and medical care needs. Pray that God will provide the resources needed—including warm clothes, blankets, and an updated heating system—to care for these children and keep them from freezing this winter.
- Pray for the three new children brought to Salvation Orphanage last month. Pray that the 3-year-old—who was picked up by a Christian on the way to church—will be able to get medical care for his paralysis. Pray for the 1-year-old and 1-month-old sisters who have serious medical conditions. The 1-year-old was born with deformed legs and the 1-month-old is desperately in need of surgery to repair an obstructed bowel or she will die. Pray for their parents who literally threw these two girls out onto the street.
- Pray for the 18 teenage boys and girls at Aide Orphanage. Give thanks that one of the older girls is now able to study at an underground Bible college. Pray that God will guide the staff and volunteers as they discern whether God would have them develop the orphanage into a Bible school to raise up missionaries and church leaders.

Pray that the surgeries are successful and that she will heal and grow stronger. Pray for Jillian’s parents as they make decisions regarding her health. Pray that God will comfort them all during this stressful time.
- Pray for two sisters who were injured in a car accident that killed their young parents. Give thanks that 2-year-old Kaylina was recently released from the hospital. Please pray for God’s healing touch on 1-year-old Anjaleena who is still in the intensive care unit. Pray for the grandparents of these girls as they work through the grief of losing their children and now caring for their granddaughters. Pray that God will provide the resources needed to pay for the medical bills and funeral costs. And pray for the 22-year-old man who hit their car and was allegedly drunk at the time.http://tinyurl.com/25nv4go http://tinyurl.com/24zvrqt http://tinyurl.com/2br4hpj
