Australia, Indonesia, Asia
- Pray for babies, usually from developing worlds, that are smuggled across national borders to fulfill first world demand for newborn adoptions. In 2003, in a boat off the coast of Indonesia, eight trafficked babies were found packed into Styrofoam fish boxes with holes punched in them for ventilation.
- Pray for pregnant mothers who are also used by traffickers—they are much easier to move across national borders than infants.
- Pray that parents wanting to adopt children won’t resort to illegal adoptions. Pray for an end to baby selling.

- Pray that God will direct the people of the Church in Nepal and help them to show their love to those who are persecuting them.
- Pray for Pastor Lazarus, his family, and their congregation as they face these trials.
Southeast Asia
- Pray for children and staff at orphanages in Southeast Asia who are harassed by authorities seeking bribes.
- Pray for the children from orphanages that have been shut down by these hostile government authorities.
- Pray for favor with these authorities and for orphanages to have the freedom to operate in the open.
- Give thanks to God for all of the compassionate people willing to risk so much to care for the orphaned and vulnerable. Pray that God will provide for them and the children with whom they minister.
United States
- Please keep the mission team from First Presbyterian Church, Midland in prayer as they prepare to travel to Uganda in a few weeks. Pray for the children and families who will also be traveling with this team. Give thanks to God for this opportunity to share the message of Jesus Christ and help with a new church planting effort.
- Pray that God would protect the massive number of runaways in the Houston area. Each year, an estimated 6000 runaways end up in Harris County where one in three are lured into some form of commercial sexual exploitation within the first 48 hours. Pray for the young girls who end up arrested and jailed—who don’t consider themselves victims of traffickers or pimps.
