Ethiopia

  • Please pray that the 3-year-old little girl who was stolen from the Joseph Children’s Home in Ethiopia will be returned soon. Pray for her safety and pray that God will comfort her throughout this ordeal. Pray for all of the children at this home who must be very frightened by her kidnapping. (Watch and Pray)

Kenya

  • Please keep Page, Anne, and 15 others involved in mission work in Kenya held close in prayer. Pray that their time with the children they meet at orphanages, schools, an AIDS hospital, and on the streets will be blessed. Pray for safe and smooth traveling experiences and that the logistics of this two-month trip will be seamless. Pray for boldness to share the gospel message and for team unity. Pray for the love of Jesus Christ to be evident in all that they do and say. And pray for the hearts of each child and adult they encounter during their time in Kenya.

Nepal

United States

  • Give thanks to God that the cancer in 4-year-old Chelbi’s spine and chest isn’t spreading as rapidly as it had been. Thanks be to God that she is doing much better—Chelbi’s hair has grown back and she is able to attend school now! Please continue to pray for her complete healing and that she and her family will experience the comfort and peace of Jesus Christ during this challenging time.
  • Please continue to pray for 1-year-old Amonnie who was flown to a children’s hospital in San Antonio recently. She is in desperate need of a liver transplant. Pray for her healing and comfort and that of her family.
  • Please also pray that God will place healing hands on the grandson of Rev. Tomas who has leukemia and is in and out of children’s hospitals in San Antonio and Houston.
  • Keep 3-week-old Caleb and his family in prayer as this little one recovers from a recent heart transplant. Give thanks to God that Caleb was a match for the donor heart. Yet in this joy, please remember in prayer the donor’s family who suffered a terrible tragedy with the death of their child. Thank God for the selflessness of this family.
  • Pray that God will bring comfort to the family of 3-year-old Judy Lynn who drowned earlier this month.
  • Thanks be to God for the volunteers and staff of The Bridge of Lubbock who work with at-risk teens in an impoverished area of the community. Pray for the youth participating in The Bridge’s summer sports camp and for their mentors and leaders. Pray that God will provide the resources needed to offer this camp to more youth.
