Honduras (Our Little Roses – http://www.ourlittleroses.org/)
- Please pray for Xiomara and the staff of Our Little Roses in Honduras as they minister to 54 girls from the ages of 2 to 18. These formerly homeless or abandoned girls now attend school, receive mental and health care, good nutrition, and Christina love through Our Little Roses ministry.
- Thanks be to God for this ministry that prepares and empowers formerly destitute girl children to live active and productive lives.
- Give God praise for the 14 girls from Our Little Roses who are now attending university and pray for them as they prepare to make the transition to living and working in the community.
Nepal (Morning Star Children’s Charity)
- Pray for Bishnu and his family as they care for the 57 children living in their home and as they provide them with love, security, food, clothing, medical care, and an education. Pray that God will encourage Bishnu and continue to provide for his needs and those of the children in his care.
- Pray for the children of the streets with whom he ministers and serves. Give thanks to God for Bishnu’s heart for children — for babies who are literally thrown away; for girl children who are second rate citizens and at risk of being trafficked to India; for children trapped in Nepal’s rigid caste system.
Nicaragua (Accion Medica Cristiana)
- Please pray for Jeannette as she serves as a missionary to children in her community. Pray that God will encourage and strengthen her as she works for the welfare of children who are at risk of sexual exploitation, trafficking, violence, and/or HIV/AIDS. Give thanks to God for her love of and concern for children in need.
United States
- Please pray for Lisa and her ministry to and with children who are homeless in the Skid Row area of downtown Los Angeles. (Central City Community Outreach – www.lacentralcity.org) Pray for the children and families living in this area and especially for teenager Jerry* who recently broke his leg during a youth event.
