Burma, Thailand, Laos
· Pray for the children and people of the “Golden Triangle” (area where Burma, Thailand, and Laos meet) following a 6.8 magnitude earthquake in that region on March 24. Pray for those who were injured or lost loved ones in the quake and its strong aftershocks. Pray for those who lost homes, schools, churches, businesses, or livelihoods in the earthquake.
· Pray for those who are terrified, especially children, because of the memory of the massive destruction from the 2004 earthquake and tsunami and the recent earthquake in Japan. Kazakhstan, United States
· Please continue to keep 2–year-old Tia* held close in prayer as she waits for her adoption to be finalized in Kazakhstan. Tia was born with facial deformities and because of that, the judge in this case has made an exception to the current no adoption rule in the country. Pray that everything will go smoothly for this adoption and that nothing will interfere with it.
· Pray that God will bring peace to Cindy, a single mother of four internationally adopted children, who has been traveling back and forth between Kazakhstan and the United States pursuing this adoption. Pray for Cindy’s four children in the U.S. who are receiving great care from their grandmother, but miss their mother very much.

· Thanks be to God for the Presbyterian Education Board’s Child Friendly Spaces (CFS) that were created in southern Punjab following the devastating floods in 2010. In the ten centers in Jatoi, 965 children are being served. Pray that God will provide the resources needed to continue this project. Pray for the children and people in the flood-affected areas who still struggle in their daily lives.
· Give God thanks for the recent groundbreaking on the first phase of the Sargodha Boys’ School. Pray that God will provide partners to work with PEB and make this dream a reality for the boys of this area. Pray that the remaining PEB schools, particularly Rang Mahal School, will be denationalized soon. This school is at great risk of falling into the wrong hands. Please pray for the children and staff of Rainbow School during this difficult time. The school is struggling due to lack of resources. · Pray for Somali children who are abducted and trained to be pirates. Pray for their freedom and safety. Pray for those who force children into this form of servitude and profit from their dangerous work.
United States
· Pray for 6-month-old Marshall who has suffered more physical pain in his short life than many adults will in a lifetime. Give thanks to God that he survived surgery shortly after his birth to repair a life threatening birth defect. Pray that Marshall will heal from the abuse inflicted on him recently, allegedly by his father. Marshall has broken ribs and legs, and a broken wrist and ankle. Pray that he will be placed in a safe and loving home, protected from his abuser. · Please keep 14-year-old Leo and his grandfather Juan held close in prayer as they recover from a bad car accident. Pray that God will bring them healing, comfort, and peace throughout this experience.
· Pray for 17-year-old Abby* who is pregnant and considering an abortion. Pray that this pregnant teen will seek God’s guidance. Pray that Abby is surrounded by those who care about her and will support her. Pray for the baby Abby is carrying.
· Please keep 15-year-old Rob*, a victim of verbal and emotional abuse, and his 14-month-old stepsister held close in prayer. Pray that God will bring someone into Rob’s life that will affirm this hurting teenager and help him see his worth. Pray that a loving community of support will surround this young man and demonstrate the unconditional love of Jesus Christ.
