- Pray for the children and families in these countries who have been affected by heavy flooding from seasonal rains, some of which are the worst in four decades. At least 30,000 people have been displaced in Angola.
- Pray for children who have contracted cholera and malaria as a result of the flooding. Pray for the children and people of Zimbabwe who have been suffering through a massive cholera epidemic made worse by the flooding.

- Give thanks to God for the recent opportunity for two Faces of Children intercessors to meet with and encourage the staff of these organizations.
Please continue to lift the ethnic hill tribe children and people of Burma in prayer. Pray for their safety and health. Pray that the government of Burma will cease its persecution of these long suffering people.

- Please keep the fatherless children of Honduras in prayer—an estimated 93 percent of families there have no resident father. Pray that God will provide additional doctors, nurses, children in crisis workers, and others to work in all aspects of evangelism, discipleship, and development in this country.
- Give thanks to God for the ministry of Nueva Esperanza, a day care center for the children of poor families. Pray for the children who come to the center each day. Thank God that this ministry provides safe and loving care for children whose parents work in very low paying jobs. Many parents in these circumstances would be forced to leave their children at home unsupervised or in an orphanage.

- Pray that God would give the governing bodies of Manipur and India wisdom and help them understand the reason young people are taking up arms. Pray that God will help the governing leaders to resolve these issues through peaceful means.
- Pray for children and young people who are unable to go to school. The education system in Manipur has suffered during all of this unrest and conflict.
United States
- Pray that God will be present in a powerful way for the middle school students attending a retreat this weekend. Pray for the sponsors and leaders at this retreat, that God will sustain them for this important work.
- Pray that Brandon, a youth in very serious trouble, will recognize God’s outstretched hand of comfort and love in this difficult time. Pray also for Bobby, another hurting and angry young man.
