King’s Kids working with children who live in the streets in Delhi, India now have a drop in center and also a small night shelter, where the boys can have a meal and sleep in a safe place. They have contact with a family of six children living in the streets with their grandparents. The two oldest boys sleep in the night shelter, but they would like to start a small home for this family with a couple on the team as substitute parents. Please pray for a suitable house and the necessary financial support for these children.
The Naya Jeevan Trust in New Delhi, India has a home for 11 girls aged 2 to 8. Please pray that these girls will come to know Christ and live for him and that the Trust will find ways of bringing the necessary funding into India.
The Inter Mission Care and Rehabilitation Society in Mumbai, India, would like prayer for guidance as the ministry plans how best to nurture the children in its care. Please pray also for administrative personnel to work in the office.
Plenty to Share Ministry in India has at least 200 children who need Bibles in their own language, Telugu, and their parents are poor agricultural laborers who cannot afford to buy them. Please pray for God’s provision so that Bibles can be bought and given to these children, so that they and their families will be able to read God’s word.
Joy and Liliana in Pune, India have 17 children between the ages of 4 and 13 in their project homes and praise God for his provision to enable them to get them all into school this year. They have six new children and some are so deeply abused and traumatized that they are very defensive and unable to respond to the love and care given them. Pray for Renata, a 4 year-old girl whose mother and older sister are prostitutes. Pray that she will learn of the love of God and know the security of a home with people who are always there for her.
Please pray for the work of the Motherland Missionary Movement in Tamil Nadu, India in their new home for the children of AIDS patients. Pray that the children’s gospel clubs will be effective in bringing children to know Jesus and for unity among local children’s ministries. Pray also for success in their services to help prevent infanticide.
Please remember to keep praying for the children who were affected by the Tsunami in Southern Asia. Pray for provision to enable the Community Concern Society in Sri Lanka to build 713 homes for some of these children.
