Please continue to pray for the ministry of Colombia ChildCare to displaced families, especially for the distribution of water. Pray for provision of funds for an orphanage. Juan, a boy who was living on the streets came to ask for food, and a lady in the community, who is herself very poor, has taken him into her home. Pray for Juan and his new adopted family.
In Ministry to Children reports that the home that is currently used in Fusa, Colombia is to be sold. Please pray that they will be able to find another suitable house in order to keep the children safe. Pray for Leidy who lives in the house and needs heart surgery. Pray that the operation will be successful and that Leidy will know God’s peace.
Please pray for Einer, a 10-year-old boy being cared for at the Granja Peniel home run by In Ministry to Children in Colombia. His father was murdered and his mother is struggling to bring up her 10 children. The care and education that Einer is receiving will mean that in the future he will be able to care for his own family. Pray too for his mother, brothers and sisters in their difficult circumstances.
Bolivia
Thank God that Rosa Maria, who was living in Talita Cumi, a hostel run by Mission Adulam in La Paz, Bolivia is now living at home with her parents again. Pray that God will continue to work in her life. Marlene, who has two young children and is expecting a third, has gone back to live on the street with the father of her children. Pray that she will come back for help. Please pray for wisdom for the team as they try to help these young women with many difficult problems.

Continue to pray for Esperanza Viva in Mexico as they continue to seek land for the City of Hope. Some of the children in the youth home are suffering from Hepatitis A, as there is an epidemic in the region, so please pray for healing. Please pray for God’s protection for this ministry as on two occasions houses have been broken into and equipment stolen. This is costly, as they have to replace the equipment but it also causes insecurity for the children.
Brazil
The team at My Father’s House in Brazil are glad to see that some of the first street boys they worked with are now living at home, but they need follow-up to help them stay there and move on in life. Please pray that they will accept help and will be able to get into training courses and find work. Pray for Peter who has gone back on the streets. Praise God for Abraham who, having served a prison sentence, is now well motivated and attending a weekly discipleship group. Please pray that he will always turn to God for the help he needs.
South America
Please pray for Rolandito who is in one of the homes run by Kids Alive in South America. When his parents died he was taken in by a neighbor and put on the streets to beg and was beaten if he did not make sufficient money. Thank God that he was rescued and is now in a loving home. He has given his life to Christ, is attending school, and is overcoming the shame he felt at his way of life. Pray that he will grow strong in his faith.
