- Please keep the staff and volunteers with Sahaara Charitable Society held close in prayer as they serve underprivileged children who are deprived of formal education; children who are rejected by society and live on the streets; prostituted women and their children; orphaned and abandoned children, and those whose parents are terminally ill; and children and youth in juvenile detention facilities. Give thanks to God for their commitment to the least of these. Pray that God will encourage these volunteers and staff members and sustain them in their daily ministry with hurting and at-risk children.
- Give God thanks for the seven pre-primary schools, known as balwadis, Sahaara Charitable Society has established in Mumbai and for the volunteers who work with approximately 500 children from impoverished households. Pray for the children who come to these informal preschools where they are given a basic education, medical care, as well as food, and are taught good conduct and moral values.
- Pray for the street children with whom Sahaara volunteers work each week. Pray these children will experience the grace and love of Jesus Christ through the weekly interactions. Volunteers demonstrate to these socially rejected children they are worthy of love and attention by feeding them, caring for them, teaching them, praying and singing with them, and encouraging the God-given talents in each of them.
- Please keep in prayer the prostituted women and their children with whom Sahaara Charitable Society ministers. Pray that Sahaara’s outreach to the commercially sexually exploited will continue and that more and more women will find freedom from prostitution. Give thanks to God for the Sahaara drop in center, to which these women and their children may go for prayer, health care, and counseling.

Pray the ministry will continue to find favor with the administrators of these detention centers.
