NightLight is a ministry in urban Bangkok which reaches out to women and children working in the bar areas of Nana/Sukhumvit. Located in a neighborhood with a growing sex trade, Nightlight’s vision is to share the Light of the world in both word and deed to those who live in darkness. NightLight Ministry takes light into the bars through outreach. It provides a safe place for women and children to come for counseling, job training, employment, education, health care, emergency intervention and discipleship.

"K" has a little boy about 8 years old she is supporting. She has returned to work in the bars. Her father was pressuring “K” for money and her addiction to alcohol was beginning to consume her. She calls frequently and has even visited and intends on coming back to the NightLight ministry.

Please pray for her release from the addiction of alcohol and the bars. She was doing really well until she started drinking again.
Please pray for a breakthrough.
Pray for her son for spiritual guidance and his physical needs.
Also, pray that he is loved by his family.


"L" has two children ages 7 and 9 who live with her. She leaves them alone at night while she comes in to work one and a half hours away. "L" is HIV positive and feels the need to work while she has strength to provide for her children before they become orphans.

Please pray for “L” to understand that her life can be prolonged if she leaves sooner and allows NightLight to help her and the children.
Pray for the children that they will have provisions for their educational, physical and spiritual needs.

Volunteers make regular visits to bars in the red light district.

Please pray for their spiritual protection, discernment and for God's direction in leading girls out of bondage.
