· Please continue to keep the Presbyterian Pan American high school students from Mexico held close in prayer. Because of the escalating drug cartel violence, many of these students are in great danger when they travel to and from the school in South Texas to their homes in Mexico.
· Pray for students whose families have had encounters with cartel violence. Pray for those who have had parents and siblings kidnapped, followed, threatened, car jacked, robbed, assaulted, targeted for recruitment, or killed. Pray God will provide for the families of these students and keep them safe.

· Keep the family and friends of Chakra held close in prayer as they grieve the death of this Christian evangelist with the Treasure Commission ministry. Pray God will surround Chakra’s wife, 13-year-old son, and 16-year-old daughter with a community of support during this difficult time. Pray especially that God will protect Chakra’s daughter from traffickers or predators who might take advantage of her vulnerability. Give God thanks for the staff with the Treasure Commission and their support of this grieving family.
Peru
· Give God thanks for the rescue of 300 prostituted women and girls in an illegal gold mining area in Peru’s Amazon region. This illegal industry in the southeastern state of Madre de Dios has attracted countless fortune hunters and those who would make money off of them. Pray for the freedom of the estimated 1,100 underage girls who are being used as sexual slaves in the illegal mining camps, unlicensed bars, and brothels in this region. http://tinyurl.com/3t8vo44
United States
· Please keep 11-year-old Gianna held close in prayer as she recovers from a fractured bone. This little girl has had severe disabilities since she was an infant and also has very fragile bones due to several health issues. Pray for God’s hedge of protection around Gianna…that she will be protected from further injuries. Please also pray that Gianna will be allowed to transfer from her public school to a private one for children with special needs. She has outgrown the services available to her at her current school. Pray for Gianna’s family as they seek God’s guidance in caring for Gianna.
· Please pray that God will bring encouragement and healing to Andrew, a 16-year-old young man who has diabetes, celiac disease, and has recently been diagnosed with hemochromatosis, a disease that causes the body to absorb and store too much iron. · Please pray for the parents and families of kidnapped, sexually abused, or murdered children—many of these survivors experience emotional turmoil every time a similar case comes to light and is detailed in the news.
o Pray for the family of Jeanna North, an 11-year-old Fargo girl who was sexually molested and then murdered in June 1993. Her neighbor was convicted of murder, but later escaped from a prison transport bus and was on the loose for three months before being captured in Dallas, Texas.http://tinyurl.com/c9razb9 http://tinyurl.com/bmwkgyq
o Last month near Fargo, North Dakota, a convicted sex offender escaped a prison van as he was being transported from Florida to Washington state to face additional charges of child molestation. Faces of Children
- Please keep 26-year-old Brittany, the friend of a Faces of Children prayer partner, held close in prayer as she undergoes aggressive radiation treatment for cancer that has spread to her bones. Pray that God’s healing power will completely cure Brittany and that this miracle will be a testimony to the people in her life of God’s mercy and love. Pray that God will wrap arms of comfort around this young woman and bring her peace.
- Pray that Pamela, the sister of a Faces of Children intercessor, will be given a correct diagnosis and successful treatment for her medical issue. Pray that God’s healing hand will be upon Pamela and bring healing to her lungs.
