Democratic Republic of Congo
· Please continue to pray for the girls and women of the Democratic Republic of Congo who have been victims of sexual violence by Congolese soldiers. North Korea
· Pray for the children and people of North Korea—the majority suffer brutally in one of the world’s most secretive, militaristic countries. Pray for children who have little to eat…one in three is stunted and one in five is underweight according to the World Food Program. Pray for child beggars that haunt the street markets of the northern provinces. Pray for families in these provinces that must scavenge hillsides for sprouts and mushrooms to eat. Pray that God will provide for those in desperate need—poor harvests have driven food costs up enormously. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/
Somalia
· Please keep in prayer four children who were made to watch as their mother was murdered in front of them. Pray that God will keep these children (12, 8, 7, and 4 years old) safe as they are at great risk of harm if they do not renounce their belief in Jesus Christ. Give thanks to God for providing the resources needed to get these children out of the country. Pray they are able to escape this persecution. Pray for healing, comfort, and peace.
United States
· Pray for high school basketball player Zach Gabbard who collapsed during a game several weeks ago and had to have emergency heart surgery. Please pray that this young man continues to recover and heal from the surgery and that his physicians are able to determine the cause of his collapse. Pray for his family and friends as well.

· Please keep 10-month-old Vivian held close in prayer as she receives treatments for a liver cyst. Pray for her complete healing and that God will comfort her family as they make decisions about her care.
· Pray for 13-year-old Annie who has serious health concerns. Pray for her healing and peace throughout the diagnostic and treatment process.
· Please keep Braxton and Braden held close in prayer as they are in a very difficult situation. Pray that God will place them in a stable home. Pray for their father who is in prison.
· Please pray for Lauren and her little sister as they are at risk because of their mother’s substance abuse problem. Pray that these little girls will be placed in the best possible living arrangement for them at this time in their lives. Pray that God will bless them with emotional healing and stability.
· Please keep 13-year-old Matthew in prayer as he faces his fourth bout of cancer. Pray that the surgery to remove a cancerous lump on his head will be successful. Pray that God will heal the two places on his spine. And pray that God will bring comfort and peace to Matthew as he goes through radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Pray for his parents, family, and friends as they accompany him on this painful journey. Pray for God’s healing hands upon Matthew and every child battling cancer.
· Pray for newborn Coleton who was born with serious health concerns and is hospitalized in critical care. Pray that God will bring comfort and healing to this little one and sustain his parents as they make decisions about his care. Pray that the family and friends of this young couple will provide them with much support.
· Please keep in prayer 10-month-old Arianna who is hospitalized in the intensive care unit with a bacterial infection. Pray for her healing and that God will comfort her caregivers as they watch and wait for improvements in her condition.
