Colombia
- Pray for the children and families in the northwestern part of Colombia who have been severely affected by mudslides from weeks of heavy rain. Pray for those who have lost family members—145 people are feared dead. Pray for the 1.5 million people who have lost homes and livelihoods because of the rain and flooding this year in what the Colombian government calls the country’s worst natural disaster in its history.

- Please continue to pray that God will protect the Dalit Freedom Network (DFN) rescue workers as they help victims of trafficking and raise awareness about this issue. Pray that God will give them strength for this challenging work and provide the resources they need to continue it.
- Pray that God will provide enough sponsors to give all Dalit children the gift of education.
- Pray for the U.S. staff and volunteers with DFN as they work to raise awareness about the Dalit people and what God is doing among them. Pray for their strength, perseverance, and for new opportunities to share this ministry.
- Pray that God will be with the medical teams in India as they continue to bring vaccinations to children. Pray that God will equip this ministry to reach every child in need.
- Please pray that God will provide the necessary resources for the DFN HIV/AIDS clinic and protect and sustain the staff at this clinic.

- Please pray for Shahnaz, a girl from a small village in Pakistan who was married at age 16 to a 35-year-old man who is a drug addict and abuser. Shahnaz’ husband took their children from her, beat her badly, shaved her head, and then threw her out of the house.
- Thanks be to God that Shahnaz was rescued and is safe in a shelter home run by SHE, a project under management of the Presbyterian Education Board. http://tinyurl.com/367f7ab Please pray for her recovery and pray that her husband can be healed of his addiction. Pray that Shahnaz might be reunited with her children.
United States
- Please continue to pray for five children who were hidden from the world by their mother and father in a squalid house without heat, electricity, or running water. Give God praise that these children, three girls and two boys ranging in age from about 2 to 13 years old, were found and removed from this situation. Pray for the new baby that was born prematurely to the 33-year-old mother. This baby will go into foster care, like its siblings, when it is strong enough to leave the hospital. http://tinyurl.com/36ckcsa
- Give thanks to God that 4,800 children from foster care found their forever families in 2010 during National Adoption Day (November 20, 2010) ceremonies. Thanks be to God that over the last 11 years, almost 35,000 children from foster care have been adopted into permanent, loving families on National Adoption Day. Pray that more people, even those in nontraditional families, would consider fostering and adopting children. Faces of Children
- Please keep Faces of Children prayer partner Rosemary and her extended family in prayer as they mourn the sudden death of her cousin Mike, a father of five children. Pray that God will bring comfort and peace to his children (who range in age from 10 to 30 years old), his wife, mother, brothers, sister, and his nieces and nephews. Give God thanks for the life of this 53-year-old father and friend who was a much loved patriarch in his family.
- Please pray for 15-year-old Josh, the cousin of a Faces of Children intercessor, who has been hospitalized with cellulitis. Pray that this bacterial infection in Josh’s elbow will heal. The infection isn’t responding to regular antibiotic treatment. Pray that the infectious disease specialists who are being brought in will be able to determine the best course of treatment for Josh. Pray for complete healing for this young man.
- Please continue to pray that more churches and individuals will join with the ministry of Faces of Children in spreading awareness about children in crisis and inviting more people to pray for children at risk.
