Pray for Oristi, a 16 year-old boy who has recently come to live in the Caminul Felix Hostel. Pray that the love and care from his new ‘parents’ will enable him to gain confidence and self-respect. Pray also for another family to come into this ministry to provide a new home for 15 children taken from the street. Please pray for the provision of a new bus for the Caminul Felix ministry.
Romania International Children’s Foundation has a home for up to 24 abandoned and at-risk boys aged 7 to 18. They seek to reintegrate children with their own families, or if that is not possible, to place them with Romanian foster families. Older teenagers are also prepared for independent life. Please pray for wisdom in finding suitable foster homes, where all family members are in agreement and a suitable, safe environment can be provided for the children.
JOY is a small ministry that seeks to support, encourage and fund Romanians who are working with the poor and needy. Each year several teams go from the UK to work with disabled, disadvantaged or abandoned children in Romania. Please pray that God will provide for the development of this work and especially that it will be a real encouragement to those who are working in difficult situations.
